It's Official!

It is with great joy to announce that, as of August 4th, I have raised all support commitments to fund my ministry for this year, PRAISE THE LORD! I have been officially hired by Cru (formerly called Campus Crusade for Christ) to report for ministry at the University of Iowa.

Currently, I've gotten back to Iowa City, and am in process of settling into my new home. I'm about 0.8 miles from the center of campus, living with 4 other godly men that are also involved in Cru. I really look forward to a year of fellowship with them. Tomorrow the staff team and I will be going to the staff retreat for 2 nights in Des Moines, IA, and then our first staff meeting will be Wednesday this week. I'm very excited to be reunited with the team, to share stories of how great God has been through this summer, and to draw closer as a team as we prepare to start the ministry at the U of Iowa.

I also want to take a moment and praise the Lord for providing, fully, for all 8 other interns that will be on staff at the U of Iowa. This is the third year in a row the Lord has provided full support for all staff and interns!

Please pray for:

- The hearts of myself and the staff team as we seek the Lord's direction and vision for this campus.

- A restful, as well as energizing, staff retreat. That we would really grow in fellowship together as we kick-start the ministry.

- The hearts of students to become open to the Lord as they prepare to move to campus for the fall.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - Thank you so much for your support, prayers, and encouragement!! God answered (and IS answering) your prayers, and it's been exciting to see the fruit of them this summer.
