Team Building at the Staff Retreat

Meeting in a comfier room to share a few more testimonies.

Being reunited with the staff team has been a moment I have looked forward to all summer. I would say that I know less than half of the team well, so getting to know everyone is, and will be, a fun process during this retreat and for this entire year. During our time on the staff retreat, one of the main things we have been doing is getting to know each other's personalities and strengths. Also, we have looked at what the team dynamics are for collective personalities and tendencies. This has been the first time in my life I've taken a Myers-Briggs personality test and the Strengths Finders test, and I am already learning a lot about myself and others. This retreat has been very helpful in processing in more detail how I function and what ways I can be an asset to others. It is really cool to see just how uniquely God has made each and every one of us. Not only are we discovering our staff team's "makeup", but it has been rewarding to hear a little of each of our life's testimony. We've each shared a 12 minute snippet of our lives, and how we are feeling coming into the start of ministry.
